High School Courses

It is our hope and prayer that all HEED families enroll in the Christian Foundations Track. This 3-year High School track will reinforce the foundations of your student's faith and prepare them to understand what they believe and why they believe it. Additionally, we believe these courses will be the preparation to equip them for their futures in college and career. These course can be taken in any order or concurrently. Students completing all four courses will be recognized at graduation by wearing a special colored cord. These courses include Bible Survey, Logic, Worldview and Public Speaking.

Our high school program serves students in grades 9–12 and includes all core subjects, electives, and the opportunity to earn a year of college credit. Classes meet once a week in Boca Raton for 80 minutes. Each course provides live, in-person instruction in a classroom setting, with assignments given for students to complete before the following class. Some of our classes are honors classes.

Parents are expected to oversee their student’s work, ensuring it is completed fully and with integrity. Because we believe education is a partnership, parental involvement is a required part of every class at HEED.

Our students have been admitted to hundreds of colleges and consistently score in the top percentage of college tests.

An annual registration fee of $100 is charged for each student. The tuition for individual classes is $695, with additional course fees as needed. These course fees may cover expenses such as science labs, AI and plagiarism detection services, curricula, special event activities, outside help sessions, supplies, and materials.

Students with a free period between classes who wish to remain on campus are required to register for Study Hall at a cost of $250. Study Hall may only be scheduled for one period between classes. Dual Enrollment classes are offered at $225 per credit, with an additional $60 administrative fee per semester.

All tuition and fees are due by August 1 and are non-refundable. However, costs are reimbursable through the Step Up for Students Scholarship Program. Each student will also be charged a $32 fee per class to cover the cost of armed security on campus.

HEED classes run for 32 weeks and meet weekly on Mondays at our Northeast Boca Raton location. Families may select individual classes, and the schedule is updated each year. A lunch period is available to students who are enrolled in both a morning and an afternoon class.

Math and English courses may require students to attend a Friday afternoon session for in-person quarterly tests. These test dates and times will be provided at registration. Dual Enrollment classes are scheduled separately and may take place on Mondays or Tuesdays, during the day or in the evening.

Our dual enrollment courses are offered in partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University and Southeastern University. Both institutions are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), which provides quality assurance in higher education. SACSCOC accredits institutions that award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees, ensuring that students receive college credit from fully accredited universities.
