HEED can HELP!
HEED provides year end testing for Elementary, Middle School, and High School
in the spring to fulfill Step Up requirements and for College entrance (CLT and ACT).
If you are interested in having your children tested at HEED, our college Professor, Amy Frank, oversees
this area at HEED. Contact her below with your questions or to register your student for testing.
Include your child's name, date of birth, the test you are interested in taking and your child's current grade.
HIGH SCHOOL:
ACT (High School) for College entrance
College entrance exam comparable to the SAT and CLT, accepted by all universities, Bright Futures, PEP to meet end-of-year testing requirements, and for dual-enrollment at state schools.
On paper. One Saturday Morning in the Spring Semester.
Pay for the Exam on the ACT website, then pay HEED $50 administration fee through Step Up or directly by check
The Official CLT (Grades 11-12) for College Entrance.
Committed to goodness, beauty, and truth, college entrance exam comparable to SAT® and ACT®, accepted by all Florida universities (and many others throughout the US), Bright Futures, PEP to meet end-of-year testing requirements, and for dual-enrollment at state schools.
On paper. A designated afternoon in April, determined by the CLT. (April 16, 2025 2pm-5pm)
Pay $100 Test fee directly to HEED through Step Up or directly by check.
CLT 10 (Grades 9-10)
Committed to goodness, beauty, and truth, college preparatory exam comparable to the PSAT®, accepted by the PEP to meet end-of-year testing requirements
On paper. A designated afternoon in April, determined by the CLT. (April 22, 2025 1pm-4pm)
Pay $100 Test fee directly to HEED through Step Up or directly by check.
MIDDLE SCHOOL:
CLT 6-8 (Middle School)
Committed to goodness, beauty, and truth, diagnostic and summative exams to track growth, accepted by the PEP to meet end-of-year testing requirements
On paper. A designated morning in May. . (2nd or 3rd week in May)
Pay $85 Test fee directly to HEED through Step Up or directly by check.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:
CLT 3-5 (Grades 3-5)

On paper. A designated morning in May. (2nd or 3rd week in May)
Pay $85 Test fee directly to HEED through Step Up or directly by check.
IOWA Form E, Core (Grades K-2)
Standardized tests nationally normed in 2024 that measure student achievement and growth across a continuum of next-generation learning standards, accepted by the PEP to meet end-of-year testing requirements.
On paper. A designated morning in May. (2nd or 3rd week in May)
Pay $150 Test fee directly to HEED through Step Up or directly by check.
