Middle School Courses

The Pathways class is offered to middle school students.

Equipping Students for Life, Leadership, and Purpose is the purpose of this 32-week journey designed to help your child grow emotionally and socially, while exploring their unique God-given gifts and potential career paths.

Led by HEED alumnus and ABCC Pastor Austin Calder, alongside special guests from a variety of professions, Pathways blends engaging video lessons, meaningful discussions, and hands-on activities. There’s no formal homework—just gentle exercises to ponder throughout the week. Throughout the year, students will also meet men and women who share how their faith shapes their work and lives, opening eyes to many exciting career possibilities.

We hope you child will develop new relationships built on common values, and find a nurturing space to grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially. It’s a chance to build genuine friendships, collaborate with peers, and develop lifelong skills.

Tuition Details:

($250 tuition + $100 course fee).

Our Middle School program serves as a bridge between our hands-on elementary program and our high school college/career prep program. Students build wonderful rapport with teachers and long-lasting friendships with their peers as they grow through their Middle School years. We rave about our excellent teachers and classes, and especially that our students are well prepared to succeed in High School Math and English.

A registration fee of $100.00 will be charged per student. Individual class tuition is $695 with an additional course fees. Course fees may include costs for Science Labs, AI and Plagiarism Detection, Curricula, Special Events Activities, Outside Help Sessions, Supplies and Materials. All tuition and fees are due August 1. Students with a free period between classes that want to remain on campus will be required to do Study Hall for a fee of $250. Study Hall is only allowed for one period between classes. Each student will also be charged a $32 fee per class for the cost of armed security on campus.

Middle school classes are 32 weeks long (30 academic weeks & 2 presentation weeks including Science Fair, Geography Fair, Art Show, Shark Tank, etc.) and are held at our NE Boca Raton location weekly on Tuesdays (Wednesdays in 25-26). Families may select their individual classes from 1 to 6. The lunch period is available to students who have a class in both the morning and the afternoon. Students must register for a study hall if they have a free period between classes.

New HEED students are required to take a placement test for Math and English in grade 6, 7, and 8.

This will help us better help the student to progress well and master the material.

Our English classes are honors level so English 6 is Honors 6 or regular English 7, HEED English 7 is Honor English 7 or regular English 8 etc.
