If you have an interest in or questions about our program, please review this website carefully. Most of your answers are contained in these pages.
If you would like to apply for the program and request an interview, please click on the New Family Registration button below to open up a family account and provide some information about your family and student. Once the form is submitted, you will be contacted to schedule a brief, informal interview so we can speak face to face.
If you are interested in a math or English class, your student will need to submit a placement test for each subject. Those tests can be downloaded below. This will insure your student is placed in the class where he will be the most successful and master the material.
We also require two letters of recommendation from existing HEED families. These may be directly emailed to us. If you do not know two HEED families, then letters from a Sunday school leader, teacher, co-op director, etc will be considered.
We look forward to hearing from you!
High School Math Placement Tests: The purpose of the math placement test is to provide a realistic view of the student's strengths and weaknesses so an accurate class placement can be made. Class placement is based on mathematical readiness as evidenced on the placement test not on the grade or age of the student. The student may be placed in a class at a lower level than anticipated so that the skills needed for future success will be firmly set. It may also be necessary for the student to brush up on the skills necessary to excel in a given class prior to the start of the class.
Once you have completed your test, email Mrs. Kathy Tout for directions on submitting your math placement test. Please include your student's name and age, and indicate which class you are requesting. (email@example.com)
