HEED is not a school, but a university model program that assists
Christian parents in their calling to home educate their students from grades K-12.
HEED provides a community for committed Christian students and families to learn in an environment
where they are encouraged to seek God first and to pursue academic excellence.
HEED's older students meet once a week in a classroom setting with qualified Christian
instructors who have a passion for their subject and a passion for teaching.
HEED's youngest student's meet for weekly hands on learning adventures where
creativity and fun unleash the power of learning by doing.
HEED Middle & High School Directors
Dear Homeschool Family,
HEED is a cooperative effort of Christian families who desire to assist each other in
fulfilling their responsibility by locating and securing qualified independent instructors to enrich
their home education program. We believe it is the responsibility of parents to train the minds
of their own children to think rationally and biblically, to discern truth, and express thoughts
clearly and persuasively.
HEED has assisted parents by providing the opportunity to join with other families to offer the best
possible educational experiences for their children for over 15 years. The parent ultimately remains
the teacher. The HEED instructor is a facilitator, instructing the student in class, while the parent
oversees and leads the student during the week.
The three of us, with our husbands, have home schooled our combined 12 children for over 50
years. Our backgrounds in law, engineering and psychology, our personal experience home
schooling our own children, and our passion to see the next generation move forward in their
destiny, have all motivated us to provide HEED classes to our community for over 15 years.
Our ultimate purpose is to see Jesus lifted up in the lives of our students, teachers and families,
and His purposes fulfilled in all of our lives.
